New Website, New Blog
Autumn Reflections On the Pond
As Autumn is upon us, even past for many now, I’ve pulled this favorite image from my archives to help introduce my new Blog, which now goes along with my new website.
I’ve never published a blog before and will be learning as I go. My goal is to post once a week on Monday morning. I want to share some of my favorite photos from the past, new images that I hope are worthy of posting, photographing experiences, new things I’m learning, and see how the blog develops. Hopeful I’ll hit on some images and information that readers will find interesting.
I took this image back in 2015 on October 25th while on a drive in Upstate New York. We sort of sped by this scene and I pulled over at the next available spot (it was fairly safe) and told my wife, Barbara, that I had to walk back and try to capture what I saw. I took about a dozen shots from different vantage points and settled on this on to print. It was about11a.m. and I was using my Canon 5D Mark III with my 24-105 zoom lens at 80mm set at 1/200, f5, ISO200.
Thanks for taking a look and I hope you will check back from time to time.
